I love rixlisa in the context of pinjalisa....Rix and Lisa, in Charisma's words, share a deep emotional bond, but it doesn't get the same qualifying statements from the chimes as the pinjalisa relationship does....

As such, I imagine them as friends with benefits -> queerplatonic partners (CONFUSING I KNOW BUT WALK WITH ME).... Rix doesn't much care for commitment and doesn't want to be tied down bc she's Married to Her Work (capitalism ahoy), and Lisa is.......hung up on Pinja. Given the lack of closure, a part of her might always be hung up on Pinja. Which is more than fine by Rix—she doesn't expect nor want that kind of love from Lisa, and just wants to be there for her friend.

I think Rix is fully aware that she's a rebound for Lisa at first, but their relationship eventually develops into something unique to them (hence the qpr label). Neither party loves the other in the "conventional" romantic sense, but they are close and have seen each other through the worst moments of their lives.

It probably takes a long, long while before Lisa finally talks about Pinja. She probably only feels comfortable doing so when she knows Rix has carved a different space into her life rather than filling the void left behind by Pinja like she did at the beginning of their relationship.

By that point, Rix knows better than to be jealous (and arguably, she would've known back then too, but she might've not been mature enough to properly untangle it lol). Maybe Lisa admits that she still misses Pinja, and to Rix, the feelings are largely foreign to her, but her heart still aches for Lisa.

She remembers the fear she felt when Ragn came knocking on her door demanding answers on Lisa's whereabouts. The dread of having to give her up, of placing her trust in the cleric to not screw her over. She was too tired to put up a better fight back then, but she never would've forgiven herself if Lisa got hurt over her selfishness. She imagines it's not too dissimilar to how Pinja must've felt, except her betrayal was magnitudes worse and it ended the both of them.
