"Why are you crying?"

River bit her lip and turned away, sniffing and  wiping her tears. “I’m not” she lied.

"You are. Don’t you lie to me, River Song." He replied. "What is it?"

She moved to look out of the Tardis window at the stars. “Uhm…” She gulped, “I think I want to stay” She whispered. “I think I’m ready to stay with you, Doctor.” She told him, “I want to travel with you”

The Doctor raised his brows, and let out a smile. “Really— Well, why are you crying? It’s not that bad being here, is it?”

"It’s not that" She whispered, "It’s just…" She paused and turned to look at him. "Doctor when we married…" She begun, did I marry you, or was I merely marrying a Tesalector?" She asked.

He hesitated to answer before folding his arms over his chest. "Me, you married me, River. You saw me in the eye, didn’t you? I was in the Tesalector.”

She nodded taking a step towards him. “I know” She told him, “I know” She whispered, “But it was a long day, I was trying to prove a point, I was stubborn, you were frustrated... I was wondering if you just did it to get me to help you, to... to shut me up" She stuttered. "To save the universe again… I didn’t know if it was really you I was marrying or, ‘it’” She explained, sniffing and wiping a few tears. “I didn’t know if you wanted me, if you loved me.” She added. "I'm never sure of what 'this' is Doctor!" She explained.
