One thing the central region has a lot of are river beaches. What they do is dam up the river and then it’s like a big icy swimming pool which is so refreshing in temps of mid thirties. There is always a lot of shade along the banks and people sit under the trees and have picnics and just enjoy the day chillaxing. They also have a cafe on site where you can get drinks and snacks. This particular fluvial is about 10 mins from our house. We went to a different one the other day whigh had these tiny black fish in when you dangled your feet in you got a fish pedicure. Strange sensation. I think I actually prefer living in the central region where you have forests and lots of greenery and then you have the river beaches instead of the sea - which I do love to look at but not as nice to sit on and have a day out at.
