Ah, I see the Ritakk are the very concept of becoming what you have destroyed.

From hunted to hunters

The irony in the hunted being hunters is very much a deliberate thing and the Ritakk do not give any fucks about it! They are quite content as a species of being who they are!

Other races know what they are getting into if they utilize/hire/ or deal with them, but damn if they are not good at what they do. Given that they own some massive asteroids that they turned into a pretty lawless cities that anything goes. (Think Omega from Mass Effect) but a little more gladiator battles than skin bar.

I was making a new oc and I was like "But what if there was more..?"

Thus ending in a new alien race in my world. Meet the Ritakk Race, an aggressive spacefaring insectoid species.

They used to be hunted down for their little gem faces on their head and chitin. The removable their face gems is considered disgraceful whether or not the removal was from themselves or not with force or not.

The Ritakk did conquer their masters and took to the stars, leaving a dying planet and have become an antagonizing force. Ritakk's favorite tactic when conquering or killing their victims is ripping/skinning their faces off.
