Reposted from (katsuutv) Last night we lost a battle. The state of Alabama executed Nate Woods, a man who had reasonable doubt and new evidence. Today I am absolutely saddened and heartbroken. I woke up discouraged, outraged, disgusted, and ultimately feeling defeated that we lost this fight. The governor, Kaye Ivey, had her mind made up and refused to even take a call from one of the victim's sister!!! Did she not care that there was new evidence? Did she not care about her people?
