Well, that was more drama than expected...
Home from hospital I may be but I'm still not entirely 'well,' something which I really need to remind myself of now and again or 'bad stuffs' happen... for instance...
I was just frying some bacon for a sandwich (as one does), but, unfortunately, I forgot that my blood pressure has a tendency to plummet when I stand still for too long.Β
There I was, minding my own business, frying away, next thing I know I'm in a rather ungainly position, being woken up by a loud squeaking sound and a very unpleasant burning smell.
Fortunately there was only aΒ bitΒ of a fire, and no harm done... except to the bacon, that is, which is now somewhat inedible. Hurrah for fire alarms, though.
