do you not like the third act breakup between blu and jewel in the first rio movie?
I kinda like it, since it was well placed.
Jewel was still prioritizing her freedom, her choices and doing everything her way over opening up for something different, while Blu was still wanting to just go back to his normal life asap despite of his feelings for Jewel, so it make sense they would go separete ways at that moment.
Sometimes people (specially young people) in relationships expect that all the probelms and differences will go away and everything will fall into place because of what the feel for each other, but things only trully work out when differences have been put aside, doubts have been solved and decisions are made
And the narrative kinda helps it ^^

Yesterday was day 5 of the world games and day one of taekwondo. Team canada had 2 fighters playing. one fighter won her first match then lost her second. In the repachage, she fought brazil and lost. Our male fighter lost his first match to iran and in the repachage he lost to brazil. Tough day for canada at taekwondo. Today is day two of taekwondo on day 6 of the games. I'm the only fighter from canada playing today. Ill post the tree up in a few minutes. Chao!
