Thinking about alternative modes of ingesting liquid starlight
Besides the injection we all know and love, liquid starlight also comes in a drinkable form. The liquid is extremely bitter, so it’s usually mixed with oral anesthetics that numb the tastebuds. The sensation can be pleasant, and even the most stone-faced handlers are known to drink a (highly diluted) “starlight cocktail” in the officers’ mess.
