Kennedy ▌approach to friendships: Sherry is warm and open to friendship under most circumstances. however, as kind as she is, it still takes her a fair amount of time to truly regard someone as a friend. ▌thoughts on pie: it’s okay. she’s only ever tried lemon meringue, because her mother bought it once, and she doesn’t often differ in her diet. ▌favourite drink: coffee, any kind, really ▌favourite place to spend time at: her friend’s houses, or libraries ▌swim in the lake or in the ocean: the lake. there’s always too many people at the beach for her liking. ▌their type: someone she can talk to and who can talk to her, who she call her friend, someone who she can confide in and she knows they’ll care. ▌camping or indoors: either or. camping would make for a nice vacation with someone else, but when alone, she’d rather be indoors.

 “A power outage, maybe?”

Sherry glanced about the darkened, tiny room. It had to be a janitor’s closet of some kind, just big enough for a few people, yet small enough to keep anyone inside jammed together. And God, it was creepy. Way more creepy any janitor’s closet should have been allowed to be. She was sure she could hear shuffling just outside the door - silhouettes of things no longer human pressing hands to the window, grumbling nonsense that no one living could understand. A chill ran up her spine. Would they even be able to get out of here?

The phone in Sherry’s hand glowed softly in the dark, providing at least some source of light. It wasn’t useful for anything else, not anymore. A symbol just at the top of screen signaled the lack of service, meaning that she couldn’t call anyone. Her parents were out of the question anyways, considering that as far as she knew, they’d been evacuated. Without her, by the way. Of course, she figured that it would be obvious to anyone she told.

With a heavy, yet quiet, sigh, she shut her phone down and shoved it in her pocket. She then turned her gaze to the person beside her. Saya Takagi, the other student had called herself. Even with the monsters outside, it was good to remember that some people were still alive.
