How do we know that Melinda was the one who left her husband to spare him sucking him into her pain when it could have Andrew was the one who left Melinda cause she was "useless" for not wanting children at that moment? How do we know Andrew is not cheating on his girlfriend for Melinda? How do we know he just went to Melinda to shrink her and help her healed? How do we know he is not being brainwashed by Ward to go back with Melinda to throw her off? Sure Andrew has been presented as a kind and supportive person but we don't know what goes on beneath the surface. However these people are so blinded by their hatred for Philinda they would do anything to have Melinda stay far away from him. Even have her go back to her ex (which I realize has as much mysgonic connotations as being forced to have kids cause it says Divorce is okay as long as you go back and your decision to divorce is horrid). It's horrifying and disgusting and the fact these people are being lauded as SJWs when they are using this couple to save Melinda from Phil (even if Phil does have his flaws her possible canon relationship with Phil will have much less problematic conorations than Ward and Andrew her two canon loves).
