YAYYY i love windows96
what is the concept behind vampires smp? we have watched a good few minecraft smp series but have never seen this one despite knowing of at least one member apparently
oh! it's essentially a minecraft roleplay set in [ambiguous olden europe] that follows a group of people who were led to a ghost town known as "oakhurst" for one reason or another. various rumors run amok as to why it's empty, with plenty of contradictory information calling back to what it used to be before a massacre that took place 200 years ago - a disaster that rendered it unable to ever return to what it was.
on a technical level, the starting vampires are set loose into the world to kill/turn the town (by killing them; the first death, they are turned, after which they would need to be staked to truly die), while the humans attempt to defend their own and search out a cure. each side is given special abilities to make gameplay + character interactions more engaging (vampires can turn invisible/into bats; humans can cast spells like fire/paralysis on them) as well!
i think it's quite fun :] it's interesting seeing people take to their characters and the dynamics that come of that. there really is no Definitive pov i can recommend! especially with the editing on some people's povs, there can be some unreliable narration + character insight which i think just adds to the experience :D
last night in my dream you said tbobf was good and I felt so betrayed
SCREAM oh my god thatβs so funny but also terrible π you met my evil twin from another dimension i think
π¬ smile
Karai brushed her thumb across Cassandra's cheek. "My child, I could never hate someone who made the same choice as me."
Listen to me. listen to me. I need everyone to think about the Cass and Karai parallels right now okay

i want you to know that i looked at (read: expanded it bc i have the post auto shorten thing on) that one dinluke post and tumblrβs incredibly bad algorithm has started recommending me so so many dinluke posts. i think this says more about how the algorithm works and pushes popular things much more thanβ¦ relevant things. but i wanted to let you know. website forcefully making me much more aware of your return.
i'm back online and making it everyone's problem :)
hi i feel like someone's personal idea of how skilled they are is really dependent on like. where they grew up how they were taught etc. or maybe i didn't pay attention to things LOL. but anyways what sorta things do u consider hard? cello wise?
definitely, so my idea is hard is very different from someone else's so I will take this question very seriously and talk about what areas of the cello I find hard and then pieces lol.
pieces: I'm grade eight at the moment so my idea of hard pieces are uh very hard. I'm not a prodigy though I've just been playing since I was five years old and kept it up. (practice outweighs talent seriously). I also have had a very good patient teacher. anyway!
at the moment I'm finding these two pieces of mine hard:
so tzig-tzig is has these whistle notes which I hate they're like harmonics but worse. um when you're playing them you have to not only move up and down the cello with these horrible notes with another finger down as a stop you have to change the distance between the stopping and finger and the other one. anyway that probably makes no sense but it's hell.
my other piece I find difficult right now is julie-o even though it's great fun. personally I'm better at tuning than rhythm so anything with weird counting throws me off.
so in general I find tempo and rhythm hard bc I don't have an internal metronome like lots of people lol I'm bad at counting whilst playing. in very general terms like everyone playing the cello I think shifting "cleanly" (without it slurring). especially when you're shifting with a tricky key signature because it means not only are you moving but you're remembering to sharpen or flatten a note.
um yeah! hope this is sort of what you were expecting out of answer lol I'm always up for talking about the cello though if you or anyone else has any questions <3
