that is an incredibly, disgustingly bleak and utterly ignorant take to condemn an entire people as lost and not worth advocating for.

have Hawaiʻi, Polynesia and the Pacific endured many atrocities and tragedies under imperialism? absolutely. Does that mean they're all hopeless and doomed to fade out and die?? NO! They are hundreds of thousands of amazing and proud peoples with their own proud cultures who work so hard to fight and maintain their land and legacy!

see this is exactly what I mean when I say none of you actually care about indigenous peoples. Whether its polynesian, native american, palestinian or african, you ignore them because you have already written them off as done for and do absolutely nothing to advocate for them or support them in literally any way. I cannot emphasize enough how amazing indigenous peoples and their richly diverse cultures are, they are not a doomed monolith of past tragedy. Who are you to give up on them when they have never given up and continue to thrive no matter how modern day imperialism continues to work against them. You only work to support that system by writing them off and condemning them.
