So basically. Um. How to explain this...

So. Y'know how a lot of people write about Ccino's cat cafe having like... cat versions of the sanses? That's kiiiind of the basis for this one. Except the cats are the actual skeletons...?

Yeahhh so, for this fic, skeleton monsters can shape-shift into a specific creature, aaaand Killer's is a cat. Because duh.

So the main two in this story are the reader and Killer. Though it isn't really a Killer x Reader? It's more... platonic! Yeah! That's the word. Yall become good friends.

The reader in this story works at a small shop/cafe, and has light healing magic. They can mend smaller wounds.

Here's a small description for the fic:

You find an odd-looking beat-up cat on your way back home from work. Although it hisses and swipes when you come near it, you manage to get close enough to heal up the angry-looking gash on its side with a bit of coaxing and calming words... although, you're aware the cat can't actually understand what you're saying to it. Maybe it understood your vibe?

But then you see the cat again one night. You know it's the same cat because its eyes look like black holes. Literally. It's also got a weird... red... thing? Floating in front of its chest? Whatever.

...Then you come across the cat again.

And again.

And again.

Damn, who's cat is this? Is it a stray? Should you take it home?

Who knows.

Yan vibes unfortunately

Alrighty! I wrote this probably... almost a year ago? The dang thing is basically finished, I just need to touch up a few details. So uh, kinda old writing? Idk, I feel like I've improved a decent amount over the past year and a half. But anyway!

The story is yet another Killer x Reader fic.

...Kind of.

It's extremely one-sided. Killer likes you, but you don't trust him, essentially. As the name suggests, there's a bit of a yandere undertone to the story.

Here's the description I wrote for it a while back:

You're a healer working with the Star Sanses. No one other than them knows your real name for "safety reasons." They appreciate your help, but ultimately want to keep your identity unknown to everyone else.

Dispite being limited by your human capabilities, your magic is far stronger than many could ever hope to achieve.

You typically stand off towards the back, healing your team from behind, keeping them alive against the seemlingly-endless growing powers of Nightmare and his group. This specific battle proves to be no different.

Until it is.

Out of nowhere, Killer, one of the most infamous murderers the multiverse has ever seen, suddenly breaks you two off from the rest of the fight with a perfectly timed blaster and a knife slice, forcing you out of your team's line of sight to seek refuge in nearby buildings. Nightmare's team seems to have caught onto the fact that, if you're out of the fight, the others will quickly fall in suit. ...At least, that's what you choose to assume.

Considering your magic's strength, one could bet that you'd be able to fend him off long enough for your team to be able to come and help you.

But there's one problem.

You've got a secret that very few people know; and somehow, Killer seems to be one of them.

After a brief moment of hesitation and a challenging head tilt from Killer, you tear your hand away from your dagger, dispite the sinking feeling in your stomach.

"good choice," Killer grins. "see; i knew you were smart."

You make sure to keep your facial expression controlled and confident, even with how anxious you're feeling. Keeping your arms at your sides, you give him a small, determined glare.

Killer seems amused.

"there's something so endearing about how hard you pretend to be tough in front of all of them," he says, gesturing back towards the exit you two originally entered from.

"What makes you think I'm pretending?" you manage to ask, cringing at the slight wobble in your voice. You pray he didn't notice.

"oh sweetheart," Killer sighs with a smile. "if only you knew."

"Knew what?"

Killer shakes his head with another quiet, low chuckle. Goosebumps shiver down your arms.
