Tom held his breath, Riddle wasn’t supposed to find him, no one was. He had made sure to cover his tracks, and he was positive no one in the small German village had magic of any sort to rat him out.

The apartment he had been staying in was the top side of a bakery run by an elderly woman, and she didn’t let people pass up the staircase unless she knew them to be his acquaintance…obviously her eyes were bad because Riddle had come up without so much as a protest from the old hag. Did they really look so much alike? Or maybe he had disposed of the woman. Though he thought he would have sensed he Magic had that been the case.

I’m such a fan of Remus-dad that I want to corrupt him and have him for my dark side. :) *clings*

Lily Potter sat awake in the dark, her sleeping husband still beside her. She clutched her wand so tightly that her hand had gone numb. 5 days. 120 hours of sleeplessness. The dreams were so vivid she couldn’t tell what was reality anymore. They were foggy and dense, much like the morning after drinking too much firewhiskey. Yet, she hadn’t had a dip go drink in months. At first Lily thought it was the isolation of hiding, then she considered the grief of war. No, it was something, or someone else entirely. He was in her dreams, in her thoughts. Riddle had pushed his way even into her waking hours. She saw him in corners, heard him on the wireless, felt him in the breeze. Finally, she called out. “I know you are here Riddle, I can’t take it. I just want to sleep. I’ll do anything.” @riddlemostfeared
