I was wondering about something. (This is more in the realm of computer science, natural computing, and mathematical biology.)

I heard that Rhyno (Pack) calculates the trajectories of incoming shells, and it reminded me of The Three-Body Problem. There's a scene where the Trisolarans build a gigantic computer by using themselves as binary components—each individual functioning as a 0 or a 1.

Could Rhyno be doing something similar? Since he's essentially a slime mold, I was wondering if the countless nuclei inside his body could function like logic circuits, turning his own body into a kind of biological computer for trajectory calculations.
