Pulling his hood over his head, to cover the scarf that was wrapped around his head, hiding the colour of his hair. It was a curse having that red hair of his and made it a lot harder when he wanted to disguise himself. It was weird, really, how much he loved to disguise himself. A habit he had picked up from slipping out of the castle so often.
Duur had been the arranged region to meet within, it was probably one of the safest for the two to meet. Given their situation within the war. The journey had been long for him, especially since he didn't have the luxuries of his royal carriage and guards. No he was rouge at the moment and was merely a commoner, to his displeasure. The one thing that he had noticed about Duur was how it was different from Surya. And that was an understatement. Despite what was going on everything seemed lively. Street performers, busy streets of people wandering buying things from merchants all claiming to have the cheapest and best stuff around. It almost brought a smile to his face seeing it so lively, compared to Surya, which was much different.Â
His eyes glances onto the sign of the place that they were to meet. A feeling of guilt and nervousness building up in his stomach. He knew he’d have to meet with her sooner or later, and honestly he was hoping for the latter. Things had changed a lot ever since the war had started. Enemies were made, and coalitions were formed. All because Junhong’s father wanted to be a supreme ruler over all of the regions, and the others certainly did not share the same views. And so the war started, and a wedge was driven between the two. Despite his doubts, more then anything he wanted to see her. It had been too long and he was already starting to forget what she looked like - not that he would ever admit that to her.Â
Sitting down at a table that he thought was the best option. Conveniently he was positioned so he had a good view of the entrance, and was easy to spot as you walked through the front. He gazed around the room. The first there as usual. The only thing was they would both be in disguises and would make it harder for them to find one another. Although the red cloth that he had on him was signal enough that it was him. After all he did love the colour red regardless of his home nation, and fire bending.Â
Ordering a drink, to make the time pass as he waited for her. Hoping that she wouldn't be too much longer. Or intact wasn't there already. His eyes now glued to the entrance, watching everyone as they entered hoping to spot her.
