🌺🌊🧜‍♀️MerMay2024: #force 🧜‍♀️🌊🌺 I struggled picking Star Wars characters for this but in the end I’m a basic snitch and my guilty pleasure is Rey and Kylo Ren. BUT WHAT IF IT WAS REGENCY AND MERMAIDS?! 👀👀👀 So here we have the Force Dyad, Naval Captain Ren capturing the elusive rebel mermaid Rey, the air is thick with a whirl emotions and regency etiquette ( Kylo can’t let his eyes wander 😳) 

I’ve just started ending it after they kiss, to continue living in blissful denial. 🙃

To everyone who says Reylo is an abusive relationship, I agree Rey/Kylo was abusive. But that’s not what Reylo is Reylo= Rey/ Ben Solo. Rey never fell in love with Kylo Ren. She hated him. Rey fell in love with the vulnerable man she could see beneath the surface, and made it her mission to try and break Ben Solo free of the shell of darkness that was Kylo Ren. And Kylo didn’t fall in love with Rey. Kylo wanted her to join him and rule the galaxy, as the ultimatre power. The love behind that offer belonged to Ben. Ben, underneath the Kylo mask, had softned with Rey, become more vulnerable and even a little bit open. He shared more with her that he had with anyone in years, which showed Ben Solo’s trust. They never fell in love as Rey/Kylo. Those two hated each other. No, Rey/Ben Solo fell in love. That is what the Reylo fandom represents, looking past someone’s flaws, seeing them for who they really are, and loving them for it.

I saw this set of blank templates on Facebook the other day and I just couldn’t help but think of these two 🥺 I just had to draw them because they it just fit so well...
