In 2002, BYU-Hawaii celebrated the second largest graduating class in the school's history. The Church News wrote a story about that day.
There's a video going around on Instagram of two white BYU-Idaho students filming themselves saying the N-word. It's part of a larger trend of increasing racial prejudice happening on the BYU-Idaho campus.
All details, links, and information to identify and report the students are included on my post. Please signal boost to anyone who might be able to provide support to victims or make a positive ID of the male students involved.
The first resident and sim I made for Calypso Island, Honey :) I can never decide on a look for her, so here’s both of them!

62nd Temple in the United States
3rd Temple in Idaho
Announcement: 12 December 2003 Groundbreaking and Site Dedication: 30 July 2005 by John H. Groberg Public Open House: 7–26 January 2008 Dedication: 10 February 2008 by Thomas S. Monson
The Rexburg Idaho Temple is five stories tall and was built next to the BYU-Idaho campus. Between the change of the two-year Ricks College to the four-year BYU-Idaho and the dedication of the Rexburg Temple, Rexburg became the fastest-growing city in Idaho, jumping from 17,500 people in 2000 to 28,000 in 2008. The dedication of the Rexburg Idaho Temple was President Thomas S. Monson’s first “official act” as president of the Church. As of December 2011, the Rexburg Temple district is the only temple district in the Church to be comprised of mostly young adult stakes.

go on, slit my throat and take what you must,
damage my wings, turn them to dust;
make me rebel, fall and betray,
but don’t make me listen whenever you pray.
because when you sought me, helpless and haunted,
i always came, reckless, as soon as you wanted.
i guarded your sleep all nights throughout,
hearing you whisper, and hearing you shout.
they said that my problem is “too much heart”,
that i can’t tell foes and family apart.
but i’m, for once, sure in a choice i should make,
if that’s what can help me dull my heartache.
‘cause hearing my name fall from your lips
is the closest i’ll get to us sharing a kiss.
if only you needed me close to survive,
then i’d be the happiest being alive.
although when you seek me, helpless and weak,
i’ll always come rushing as soon as you speak.
i’ll guard you all nights and all days throughout,
witnessing all of you falling apart.
even if hearing my name on your lips
is the closest i’ll get to us sharing a kiss,
having you near, in a footstep or five,
is all i will ever need to survive.
