words spoken in a hushed tones, just loud enough for the girl besides her to hear. she couldn't risk talking at a higher volume,or making any other loud sounds that would draw the attention of what they were hiding from. or, at least what Blake saw that needed to be hiding from. one of the static creatures was blocking the mostly destroyed street-- never moving, but always looking around. normally, she’d have no problem taking it out. they were sturdier than others, but not immune to dying. but before she could fully draw her weapon, she had spotted a girl hiding behind what looked like to her a still intact wall. that changed everything in a second, her new priority being to get her away from the area. Blake didn’t want to end up putting the other in harms way if she did try to fight, instead choosing to make her way over to the girl.
because if there’s one thing she learned fighting Grimm, it’s that monsters never go down without causing havoc and it wouldn’t feel right, fighting with an innocent person so close to the battle.
