        “ Curry. You’d think that would work as an ice-cream flavor? I mean, if they can make mayo flavored ice-cream then curry shouldn’t be too far off of a thing. “

         after a second to contemplate, something finally clicks. picking up a fallen branch, unfortunately one with few leaves, mirio places it over his button nose as he catches up to her.

         ❛ eri-chan! ❜ though the branch obstructs and scratches at his face, his singsonging voice might give him away ( forget anything else noticeable about him ). regardless, he squats down to her height, a bright grin peaking behind the branch. ❛ guess who? ❜ 

“Hello! Anyone home? I’m My Melody, your neighbor. I wanted to borrow some wine for a recipe.” Hopefully this attempt to borrow wine would turn out better than the last time. Normally she’d buy what she needed at the grocery store, but during the last trip she’d completely forgotten to buy wine for the steak sauce. So that’s why she was going to a neighbor for help, it was just more convenient. “I will pay you back, I promise!”

“Eh...?”

Shigaraki’s body was so thin and lithe he ended up being knocked off of his feet by a girl running through the alleyway. He fell backwards and landed on his ass. The stunned expression he wore on his face looked so comical you could almost forget he was a terrible person. 

Shigaraki observed the girl, she looked like she had gotten separated from an adult and had no idea where she was. This was a job for a hero. Maybe if he waited around a little while one would show up. 

Shigaraki remembered though, a child wandering around lost, looking at every adult for help only for them all to ignore him. The memory left a bad taste in his mouth. He suddenly wasn’t in the mood for bloodshed. He should just scare this kid away. 

yukari stands up off the bench they were both perched on, popsicle in one hand as she attempts to replicate the group in all their glory.

   “ phoenix ranger featherman r !!! “ that exclamation caused a few pigeons to fly away and for the brunette to almost drop her popsicle in the heat of the moment - but they were such cool heroes and this younger girl seemed genuinely interested, finally! someone with good taste.

    “ i think i’m a bit biased to pink argus but she’s just so cool you know?! she may almost be as cool as you eri .... though that’s touuugh competition. “ and  the archer find herself sitting back down next to the smaller girl, smile remaining as she looks down onto her.

   “ have anyone back home you see as a hero? i’d love to hear about them! “

  words spoken in a hushed tones, just loud enough for the girl besides her to hear. she couldn't risk talking at a higher volume,or making any other loud sounds that would draw the attention of what they were hiding from. or, at least what Blake saw that needed to be hiding from. one of the static creatures was blocking the mostly destroyed street-- never moving, but always looking around. normally, she’d have no problem taking it out. they were sturdier than others, but not immune to dying. but before she could fully draw her weapon, she had spotted a girl hiding behind what looked like to her a still intact wall. that changed everything in a second, her new priority being to get her away from the area. Blake didn’t want to end up putting the other in harms way if she did try to fight, instead choosing to make her way over to the girl.

           because if there’s one thing she learned fighting Grimm, it’s that monsters never go down without causing havoc and it wouldn’t feel right, fighting with an innocent person so close to the battle.

    her hand gently takes the younger girl’s into her own, the other coming to rest on her shoulder as she shifted their positions-- Eri in front, and Blake in the back.  “ Stay close, and do your best to follow what I say. We need to be as quiet as possible. ”

obviously those who are hateful towards others is a huge dealbreaker, given his history. anyone outright cruel with little to no sympathy is also high on that list. really, just be a decent person and claude will like you!
