I'm so obsessed with the way Matt is playing as Julien!!!
The Azune & Julien moment was fucking fantastic and I'm amazed at the artistry of both Matt and Luis, but what absolutely stole that scene for me was what Matt said at the end.
Because I fully believe that Julien, after hearing the words "I was at Thjazi's side", stopped listening to Azune's reasoning. He listened, of course, but he didn't listen. This man hates Thjazi's guts so hard that the moment he heard his name and learned that this handsome man before him was his ally, the sheer idea of trusting him became a fucking joke. The offer? All those pretty words? They are empty, coming from Thjazi's friend. They mean nothing.
And my god what an amazing choice that is.
"Congratulations, after all these years to see my family brought low. I hope it's everything that you and... Thjazi would have wanted."
This is all Julien got from that conversarion. He's surounded by Thjazi's friends and family and he is all fucking alone (except for Aranessa but she'll probably have to stay behind soon) because in his eyes, even though we've seen already that it's not true!!, all of them are happy because of what happened at the Palazzo and probably only wish that he had died right alongside his father.
And you know what? Matt might as well just kill me because I'm going fucking insane.
