I consider this ship’s feelings: Mutual | Mixed | Strange | Awkward | Platonic | Sibling-like | One-sided | They don’t really like each other |
I’d consider the relationship: Healthy* | Awkward | Abusive | Doesn’t work properly | They’d never get together |
(Possible co-dependent in a way but ultimately they help each other more than they do each other harm and with Asher, that’s way way better than he’s ever got before. They definitely would learn from each other and communicate openly when problems arise. What else can you ask for?)
Children: No | Yes | They’d think about it
(I can see them debating it, had they lived a lot longer. Probably decide against it because Grant’s not exactly young any more and wouldn’t be around to look after a kid for long. They’d absolutely be weird uncles for any kid Sybil adopts though.)
General Opinion: I’m glad this ship is canon. It’s pretty interesting. I think they’re far from ‘perfect’ and have their unhealthy traits as a duo, but they really have an understanding & work together as equals, which is important.
royce/asher/grant (gonna assume this is the version of Royce I write as bi or it’d just a confused Royce going on his tablet while two men get it on)

(But! As much as Grant/Royce wouldn’t work out no matter Royce’s sexuality, I think with Asher there to balance those two, and Royce there to keep Asher and Grant from ignoring things to be around each other, they’d actually work pretty well. In the sense that if they were a poly Asher and Grant would be primaries and Royce would be ambiently Around.)
