i went to a mass today and at the end of the mass, the priest said, we’re going to have so-and-so from the Catholic Lesbians group give us an update! so this woman came up in front of the huge Catholic congregation and talked about the Catholic Lesbians group, how they celebrate marriages and adoptions and hope they can get married in the church one day and that they support women called to the diaconate AND the priesthood and all this wonderful stuff. and the (Jesuit) priest just sat in his chair while she spoke and then thanked her and everyone clapped like this was just a normal thing and i was just sitting there with tears streaming down my face

what if Catholic women, aka the majority of people who attend mass, boycotted mass until the Church hierarchy ordained women? what if. 

Jesus is just as much Mary’s son as he is God’s son. If he’s fully God *and* fully man, why don’t we refer to him as the son of Mary just as frequently?
