Andre 3000’s “ 47 Messages “ Jumpsuits for the OutKast Reunion Tour in 2013. Every night he wore a different jumpsuit with a conversation starting message printed displayed on the front of it. In his own words, he said that he thought the fashion statement ( quite literally ) could act in a progressive manner, aiding socio-cultural concerns.
All 47 jumpsuits went on to be displayed in a gallery at The Savannah College of Art during Art Basel Miami. These jumpsuits also went on to spark a collection of t-shirts with the same messages. [ x ]

Muppet Fact #1591
This week, at the Art Basel Paris contemporary art fair, a 66 foot inflatable Kermit the Frog is on display. The installation designed by Alex Da Corte has it's head deflated as "a way of paying tribute to US public broadcaster PBS," which is "facing drastic budget cuts."
The piece titled Kermit the Frog, Even was inspired by the 1991 incident where the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Kermit balloon ripped and the ideas of what "It's not easy being green" represents. The artist had this to say about the installation:
"My interest in Kermit has been this ‘It’s not easy being green’ thing. On one hand, green means green energy, being conscious of the environment; on the other, there’s also the sense of being an alien, being marginalized, and that hardship. Here we see Kermit wearing it plainly on his face – the facade drops when the camera isn’t focused on you, you let down the mask and let your feelings show."
