So now, let's talk about hair. One of my biggest problems in life (LOL) is my hair. I've been struggling since high school when it comes to taking care of my very dry and thick hair. Eversince, my hair's really straight, then after how many times of rebonding, I have no idea why but my hair is now so wavy right now. Haha. I've already tried several hair treatments but nothing worked so I'm really happy that I was able to finally try a different one from the best Korean salons out there, Tony and Jackey Salon!

I've been given the chance to have a hair color, haircut & Mucota Scena Clinic treatment package (PHP 4999). I was really excited and I really had high hopes because I've already given up on my hair, not even kidding. Haha!

My hair says it all HAHAHA!

First, I had my hair colored. Sir Dave (Korean Senior Hairstylist) chose the Light Golden Blonde (they use L'Oreal products) shade for me.

After the hair coloring, I had the Mucota Scena Clinic treatment.

Mucota Scena Clinic treatment is a 4-step treatment that is made for treating dry and dull hair. At the same time, the Mucota Scena Clinic treatment softens the hair strands and makes them smoother and shinier.

The first step is called ETHOS. Ethos is a PH balance treatment in which your hair will kinda create a foam if it contains a lot of chemicals. And yes, it is made to remove all the harmful chemicals in your hair.

Next step is called ADEL. Adel is like a moisturizer, but for your hair. They will wrap your hair for 10-15 minutes to fully absorb.

The 3rd and 4th step go together. They're called the Brava and Calore. It is a treatment with protein that's in a spray bottle. The product will be spritzed on your hair, leaving it for just a few minutes.

And lastly, hello haircut! I told sir Dave that I want to make my hair just a bit trimmed so it stays below my shoulders. Sir Dave is really, really kind (and gwapo, kidding!) and really makes sure that you are comfortable and happy with your hair :)

I'm REAAALLY happy with my hair! Finally, goodbye to my very dry & dull hair! My hair now feels so smooth and it's way shinier compared to my hair before. Indeed a great hair makeover. The Nest Food & Lifestyle Park is a family business owned by the lovely couple Neil & Claire Estacio, with the support of their family & relatives. It’s pretty nice that the people behind The Nest actually came up with a unique idea, making it a food and lifestyle park. The Nest is envisioned to be a place of gathering where friends and family can relax, play, and dine in a quiet and serene setting.

What I reaaaally love about The Nest is the venue itself. It's really spacious having the area of 1400 square meters. The Nest is in an airy, green, and vast space of land. The design concept is for it to be a “nestling” place after a long day’s work in the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s a perfect place for families to dine and friends to meet up and chill out. The Nest is also a mixed-use space where majority of the tenants are food service providers, plus there will be specific stalls for retail and service oriented providers (such as boutiques / coffee shop, salon, etc) as well.

What I also love about The Nest is their picnic area (with an area of 200 square meters) that is covered with faux bermuda grass. They can lend mats for you to use. Their picnic area is perfect for having a picnic time with your friends or a small party / gathering (yes, you can rent / reserve the venue!). If you want to have a little unique dining experience, then I suggest you try this one. They also have the upper deck, or “the nest” wherein an approx. of 150 people can sit and dine while enjoying the cool breeze. 

The Nest has more than 20 food / drink stalls and so far, 1 service oriented. The stalls:

PEDXingr - It is the acronym for Play.Eat.Drink.Sing.Record. This is actually a very unique concept, well, for me, that can be found in a food & lifestyle park. People can literally play, eat, drink, sing and record inside the karaoke room & studio. Since the owners LOVE live music, they wanted to share the same passion to us by coming up with this concept. Their goal is to bring people closer to music You don’t really have to be a professional singer for you to sing, perform and record, just sing your heart out and have fun!

Give and Bake - I really love this dessert place. Give and Bake started as Mr. Philip’s (owner) mom’s hobby. They helped each other bake and sell their pastries to schools, offices and even malls. They then ventured into supplying brownies in birthdays and special events that led them to expanding their business. Now, they don’t just serve brownies - they added up a little twist by adding ice cream and even adding layered cake in a cup with it. They also have a variety of desserts perfect for those who have a sweet tooth! I highly recommend this most especially their brownies!

Tunabellé - Pronounced as Tuna Belly, brings you fresh tuna goodness all the way from the Tuna Capital of the Philippines, General Santos City. Its aim is to serve your “pulutan” or pica pica, Pinoy delicacies and other Pinoy favorites in a healthy way. The owner actually realized that food parks selling tuna doesn’t actually exist yet, which made her come up with this kind of concept. The main idea is to substitute any other meat to tuna. Sounds (& tastes) exciting, right?

Oishi Doha - Oishi Doha is an Asian fusion Japanese Food. This business started as an online seller at Doha, Qatar year 2014. They sell only four flavors of sushi which is California Maki, Kani Avocado, Spicy Tuna and Shrimp Tempura. In the Philippines, they serve appetizers and a wide variety of sushi.

The owners of this business are OFWs and they decided to bring Oishi Doha to the Philippines. Oishi Doha have two branches in the Philippines, the first branch located at Gourmet Food Park Baliwag, Bulacan and the second one is at The Nest Food and Lifestyle Park Taguig City.

Overall rating? It’s a perfect 10! From the ambiance, food, service, everything. I wasn't able to try a lot of stalls since I was too busy taking photos and I got full a bit fast hehe. Still, it was such a great experience and I really can't wait to go back and try the others. I would highly recommend The Nest to people of all ages. Go bring your family, relatives and friends with you for a fun and unique dining experience!

Skinfood Premium Tomato Whitening Toner

I actually have 3 favorites from the Food, Skin, Love Box and this is one of them. The first thing I noticed with this product is the smell. It smells soooo good. I really can't describe it but its smell is very natural with a little mix of sweetness.

I apply this by pouring just the right amount in my palms and patting it on my whole face. It doesn't sting - this is what makes this my favorite toner. I've already tried a couple of toners and I don't know why but some toners hurt :( Since this one's also made of natural products, I guarantee you that it's really safe and it won't cause any breakouts, redness and other skin problems.

Innisfree Broccoli Clearing Lotion

THIS. PRODUCT. IS. A. HOLY. GRAIL. I swear it moisturizes my skin and even lessens my pimples. I'm gonna post a before and after photo using this product after 1 - 2 months.

The only thing I don't like about this product is the smell. Hahahaha. It smells like a strong acid or whatever but it's alright as long as it does its job and doesn't harm my skin. Hahaha.

The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Foaming Cleanser

Cleansing is a must. Skincare rookies should try this one. It smells sooo good, and it's actually a mild cleanser that'll make your skin feel clean, smooth and not-so-tight. Didn't give me breakouts and other reactions, so it's a plus! :)

WondeRuci Light Light Eye Balm

I don't usually use eye balms / creams, but this one is actually good. When I applied it on my eyebags, it actually feels a bit cold and minty. It's so refreshing so I make sure I don't forget to use it before I sleep. My eyebags are not that pretty obvious / big so I really can't tell if there's already slight changes but I promise I'll update you soon.

Monstory GirlyMon Brightening Care Face Mask

I don't think this is actually a face mask, it's more of a face scrub. It smells so good, plus it has tiny bits of rice bran. Don't worry, it doesn't feel painful or harsh when you put it on your face. Just be gentle when applying.

It's not really that kind of product I would purchase in the future. It does brighten up my face but it really didn't satisfy me. But still, you can give it a try and who knows, this might be perfect for your skin :)

Hiddencos Face Masks in Americano & Latte

I swear I love this face mask. I've been trying a lot of masks lately, but this one is by far one of my faves. Maybe you didn't notice but I'm always after the smell first hahaha! This one smells like COFFEE, like, really. Its gel / cream / I don't know what you really call it but the liquid substance looks & feels like honey, except that it smells like coffee.

Tried the Americano mask, left it on my face for 20 mins and after removing it, my skin feels so fresh and SO SMOOTH! I used the mask again but this time I squeezed and squished it, then rubbed the substance left on my face.

Saemmul Water Candy Tint in Watermelon

I'm a fan of tints, and this one is one of my tints for my daily make up products. Whenever I don't feel like wearing a dark shade of lippie / tint, I go with this one since it looks very natural on my lips. It's like a natural red with a little splash of pink so it's a match for every make up look. It's highly pigmented so you don't need to re-apply over and over :)
