Being a sleepy working girl / blogger with a busy life is really, really hard. Responsibilities keep on haunting me hahaha! Adulting is already saying hey, but well, that’s life. You just gotta deal with it.

There are actually a lot of things I’m trying to balance: personal stuff, work, social life, freelancing, and of course, blogging. I’ll admit: I already told myself to give up or sacrifice some stuff, but whenever I feel like giving up, I always remind myself that I can do it. Like what people say, always do what makes you happy. Even though things might not be easy, always remember that it will be worth it. 

Personal stuff (myself, family, friends) - this is actually the biggest thing I’m doing my best to manage. I want to do the things that make me happy while doing the same with my family and friends. I always make sure that I’m taking good care of not just myself, but also the people I love. I want to give them what they truly deserve, after all the things they’ve done for me. 

Work - I just got employed this July. I’m a Graphic Artist in a start-up company in Makati. I took up BS Information Technology but I’ve still decided to pursue Graphic Designing. Some people say Graphic Designing is easy, hell no, you’re all wrong lol. Hello deadlines!

Social life - honestly, the last time I went out with my friends was early this month after a couple of months. I really really really miss being a college student!! I thought adulting is not gonna be that hard but no, I wish I could turn back time haha. I’d rather choose to stress over school works than real life problems. Like what older people say, enjoy school, enjoy being a student while you’re still at it. Trust me, it’s true.

Freelancing - if I’m not mistaken, I think I’ve started freelancing since Grade 6 or 1st year high school ‘cause why not. GrApHiC dEsIgN iS mY pAsSiOn

BLOGGING - OH MY. Actually, I reaaaally want to be a full-time blogger, but I don’t know how, honestly. I am still trying my best to stay active when it comes to my blogging career but sometimes I just really can’t handle everything. This is why weekends are very important to me. Work during weekdays, blog during weekends. 

So, how do I balance them?

I know I’m not a perfect girl and I still get headaches from managing my time but still, I try my best to balance everything. I PLAN. I always make a looot of plans which is why I can’t live without a planner. I may not always be seen using my planner but whenever I’m at home, most especially at night, I always brainstorm and think about all the things I want to do. A little advice from me: always make sure that you know your priorities. Always list down all the things you want to work on or manage, and rate them from the most important to the least. For example, if you’re a working girl like me, then of course focus on your work first. Second is whatever career you are pursuing, then the rest can follow. Another tip: during my break time or free time at work, I do my blog duties. A 10 min blog break can really help a lot, I swear. 

I want to promise myself that on 2019, I will be more productive and give my 101% to balance all these stuff. I want to catch up with my friends, whether high school / college friends or social media / blog friends. During the first week of November, I’ve already planned a lot of stuff for my life. I’m soooo freaking excited to be more active and give more to my friends and followers. I know that things are just starting for me, and no matter what may happen, I’m still very happy and excited for what lies ahead of me. :)

Don’t wanna make this a super long post so I’ll just cut it here for the meantime. Haha. Anyway, I still hope this post help you even just a little. So now, let's talk about hair. One of my biggest problems in life (LOL) is my hair. I've been struggling since high school when it comes to taking care of my very dry and thick hair. Eversince, my hair's really straight, then after how many times of rebonding, I have no idea why but my hair is now so wavy right now. Haha. I've already tried several hair treatments but nothing worked so I'm really happy that I was able to finally try a different one from the best Korean salons out there, Tony and Jackey Salon!

I've been given the chance to have a hair color, haircut & Mucota Scena Clinic treatment package (PHP 4999). I was really excited and I really had high hopes because I've already given up on my hair, not even kidding. Haha!

My hair says it all HAHAHA!

First, I had my hair colored. Sir Dave (Korean Senior Hairstylist) chose the Light Golden Blonde (they use L'Oreal products) shade for me.

After the hair coloring, I had the Mucota Scena Clinic treatment.

Mucota Scena Clinic treatment is a 4-step treatment that is made for treating dry and dull hair. At the same time, the Mucota Scena Clinic treatment softens the hair strands and makes them smoother and shinier.

The first step is called ETHOS. Ethos is a PH balance treatment in which your hair will kinda create a foam if it contains a lot of chemicals. And yes, it is made to remove all the harmful chemicals in your hair.

Next step is called ADEL. Adel is like a moisturizer, but for your hair. They will wrap your hair for 10-15 minutes to fully absorb.

The 3rd and 4th step go together. They're called the Brava and Calore. It is a treatment with protein that's in a spray bottle. The product will be spritzed on your hair, leaving it for just a few minutes.

And lastly, hello haircut! I told sir Dave that I want to make my hair just a bit trimmed so it stays below my shoulders. Sir Dave is really, really kind (and gwapo, kidding!) and really makes sure that you are comfortable and happy with your hair :)

Ta-da! My hair is now sooo soft and healthy! See more of my hair below (tho I had another haircut just recently).

I'm REAAALLY happy with my hair! Finally, goodbye to my very dry & dull hair! My hair now feels so smooth and it's way shinier compared to my hair before. Indeed a great hair makeover. Let's start with their food! :)

Pesto Pasta Chicken (PHP 180) - THIS IS THE BOMB. I love pesto but this is ultimately my FAVE. I really love the flavor and it's not too oily unlike other pesto pastas. PLUS, their chicken tastes sooo good! It's perfectly cooked and tastes like roasted chicken. It's just perfect.

Carbonara Chicken (PHP 180) - Even though it's a bit extraordinary, I still love it most especially with the chicken. The sauce is really creamy, and I like how they put lots of ham and bacon, really really worth it.

Mocha Frappuccino (PHP 95) - Their Mocha frappe is just a little too sweet but it's still yuuummy. It's really creamy and tastes like melted mocha ice cream.

Caramel Biscuits Ice Cream (PHP 49) - I was actually shookt that their ice cream is just worth PHP 49 because the serving is so HUGE. I love how it's not too sweet and the cookie made it perfect. This is really perfect for kids (and of course adults too) who love ice cream!

Cafe Latte (PHP 70) - I am such a coffee addict so of course, I loved this. I didn't put creamer since it already tastes so good. It's not too sweet also so anyone can surely enjoy it!

Chicken Teriyaki (PHP 150) - I love their chicken teriyaki!! It's like a chicken fillet with a sweet and spicy sauce (somehow like a bbq sauce).

We also tried their Caramel & Matcha frappuccino but the photos got corrupted :( But still, I love them both. The Caramel Frappe tastes like caramel ice cream with melted caramel bars. Yes, it's really a caramel frappe haha! It's not too sweet also, trust me. Their Matcha Frappe is okay, it doesn't really 100% taste like Matcha but it's still close! :)

Overall rating for Yoki Ice cafe: 9/10. What I really love about their menu is the serving and pricing. Their food / drinks are really affordable AND it's a double worth it because of the serving. This is a perfect place to chill and have a small get-together with your friends, bond with your family, or even a date with yourself lol. I'd really recommend this place!

First of all, what does ZONG mean?

ZONG, in China, refers to a rectangular block of precious stone with a round inner cylinder that represents the Earth. Zong is a mix of Cantonese and Szechuan dishes with influences of Batavia, Siam, Malaysia, Singapore and Manila, Philippines.

Sooo let's start with the food! :)

They first served us the Beef Wonton Noodle Soup (PHP 258). I like everything about this noodle soup, from the wonton to the soup itself. It's not that "exciting" or extraordinary but it's still great plus the serving is good so it's a must-try for noodle lovers out there!

The next one is Zong's Yang Chow (PHP 248). This is so far the best Yang Chow I've tasted! I love the bits of pork, seafood and the flavor of the rice itself. Oh, and also, a big plus is the serving. Two words: WORTH IT.

This is Zong's Scallop Siu Mai (PHP 128). This is my most favorite in the food served. Since it's scallop flavored, you might expect that the scallop and other seafood ingredients might be too fishy, but swear it's not. It's sooo so good. You'll get 3 Scallop Siu Mai per serving and, trust me, one serving isn't enough, lol.

This is Zong's Almond Gulaman (PHP 138), a.k.a. The Best Gulaman Ever. This is a unique drink and I actually didn't expect that it's actually just gulaman. They made it look and taste so extraordinary. It somehow tastes a bit like taho, with their super yummy almond jelly. It's not too sweet too. It's just perfect!

Zong's Chicken in Salted Egg Yolk is sooo good!! It's my favorite (did I just say favorite again? Haha!). I just hope they have bigger chicken haha! I don't know if this one's common but so far it's the first time I've heard and try it. You can clearly taste the salted egg yolk in every bite. 2 thumbs up for this!

Zong's Banana Fritters with Honey Glaze (PHP 128) is actually just turon with a little twist. It's good although not too special (BTW, I don't like langka so if you're not a fan of it also, maybe you can try and ask if they can remove the langka lol). It's still a great dessert for the kids and for those who have a sweet tooth.

Zong's Hot Prawn Salad (PHP 428) is really good. What makes it really unique and special is that it's not just a prawn salad, it also has kashew nuts. The shrimp they used were also very crispy which made us love it more. It's just a bit expensive but since it's shrimp, well, it's a bit expensive. Haha. Don't worry, the price is still very worth it for the taste and serving!

Overall rating: 9.5/10! I'm surely gonna come back and invite my family and friends to dine in Zong. They also have a function room if you're in need of a venue for your party, small gatherings, etc. Me and my dad really enjoyed the food, also, kudos to the kind and welcoming staff! Taking care of our skin is really a thing, most especially trying to keep it healthy and moisturized.

Skin Is In Oh Berry Scrub smells sooo good too! It's actually stronger compared to the Kape Scrub. Its consistency is actually more of a jelly / slippery soap-like unlike the Kape Scrub which is more dry. They both made my skin feel so soft and smooth.

Being a student is really hard, am I right or am I right? Hahaha! Tons of school works to do, most especially T-H-E-S-I-S that seriously drains our mind and body (and wallet, too!!). We all need a place wherein we can peacefully work on our school stuff without spending a lot. Personally, it's really hard for me whenever I need to finish a lot of school & blog related stuff since I prefer working outdoors instead of working at home. I always go to coffee shops but I admit, it's no longer that convenient and stress-free. Coffee shops are starting to get a bit noisy, plus you have to pay for some coffee and snacks when you get hungry which is inevitable since you'll be staying for a long time. It really drains my wallet haha! Well, I'm really glad that there are now special places for students like me wherein we can study peacefully without having to spend a lot. Overall, it's 11/10 for me! From the IG-worthy venue, ambiance, accomodating staff, convenience, everything. Review: I loooove this cleanser! This is the best mild cleanser I've tried so far. It's not that thick and heavy on the feeling, like what I've said it's pretty mild. It's also a great exfoliator since it has tiny beads that is responsible for the glowing of skin.

It removes some dirt and make up products that were left after cleansing. It's really lightweight too and leaves a cool feeling.

Food is EVERYTHING - most especially if it’s pizza or pasta. I’m always on the lookout for new restaurants to try, which is why I’m really happy to discover Don Henrico’s.

I’ve actually already heard of Don Henrico’s from my relatives and other friends but never really got the chance to try it. I was really happy that Don Henrico’s held a small, special event for food bloggers and invited me. So, is Don Henrico’s really worth it? ;)

First, let me start with the venue and ambience of the restaurant.

I really love the venue and ambience of Don Henrico’s Glorietta branch. The venue’s very spacious compared to other restaurants. I also love the theme of their venue. I love the decorations / aesthetics, their music and more. Everything really gave me an Italian vibe :)

So let’s now proceed to their menu. Since it’s an Italian restaurant, their highlights are their pizzas and pastas.

I like this one. It has mixed bell peppers topped with squid, shrimp and parsley.

I was a bit shookt that this is actually a bacon cheeseburger flavored pizza hahaha! I first thought it was a veggie pizza but it's not. It has a combination of beef, bacon, mushroom, pickles and onion topped with lettuce and tomato. Wasn't able to try it though since I actually really hate veggies :( But it looks good though!

I love their mozzarella sticks. It was a bit extraordinary but you can really taste the mozzarella cheese. The breading wasn't really that special though so don't forget to use the marinara dip! :D
