Fml. I was just thinking about Lucio‘s romance and where it’ll go, and just imagined the reversed ending: The MC/apprentice is falling or has fallen in love with Lucio and Lucio is falling for MC/apprentice, but after realising (the day before the masquerade) that the red plague has come back because of Lucio, MC/apprentice talks to Asra (during the masquerade) and asks if they’ve done the right thing, in bringing Lucio back to life (body and all), and they realise they need to kill Lucio. So, Lucio and MC/apprentice go back to Lucio’s (revived) bedroom, and things start to get saucy; as they pull away from a kiss, MC/apprentice stabs Lucio in the heart. LITERALLY. With a dagger. Just straight in the heart. And so, shocked, Lucio falls to his knees, MC/apprentice, now softly crying, falls to their knees with him and cradles Lucio as he dies... I cried for a solid minute with thinking of this... What do you all think? {Or, even worse, Lucio is just trying to use the MC/apprentice to get his own body back, and after realising the betrayal (and that the plague is returning) MC/apprentice then kills Lucio...}
