Short Prayer / Invocation for Isa + 2 of Cups Reversed

Spirit of Isa, sacred ice, still my rushing heart. Teach me the wisdom of pause, the protection of silence, the clarity that comes before movement.

May I not pour from an empty cup. May I not force love, peace, or understanding where the waters are not ready to meet.

Ancestors of river, frost, stone, and breath, help me return my energy to its proper vessel. Help me know what is mine to feel, what is mine to carry, and what must be left untouched today.

By the quiet of ice, by the Tao of non-forcing, by the cup returned to the self, I choose stillness over strain, clarity over confusion, and peace over emotional entanglement.

Couldn't help but see (angel) Crowley in this Temperance tarot card, especially with the fan-favorite red-with-black-accents wing color (I see this in fics a lot - maybe it came around before the starmaker scene, where he cannonically has white wings?)

Came up when I was searching to see if there was a Temptation tarot. The devil is technically the epitomy of temptation, ~ but ~ I think he's taking credit for a lot of Crowley's rep.

Temperance - balance, things taken in even measures

Temperance, reversed - indulgence or abstinance - all or nothing, extremes

You can be tempted into indulgence? (ask a certian foodie angel we all know)

Head-cannon for me now, Crowley was the angel of temperence in heaven, but he wasn't very good at it XD Just look at him getting all giddy over those gorgeous stars. Easy fall/flip into the reversed angel of extremes.
