Me: Okay, I’ve got a stack of unread and unfinished books ready for the Reverse Readathon tomorrow. I’m finally gonna make a dent in this stack!
Also Me: I feel like cleaning and reorganizing for the first time in forever. Maybe I’ll just re-listen to a bunch of audiobooks for the Readathon.
Welcome to the 2022 Reverse Readathon!
We officially start reading at 8pm Eastern (EDT, aka New York), but a lot of readers are starting early. Are you joining us?
This readathon we have a Bingo Social Challenge on facebook, so if Bingo is your thing, check out the Bingo submissions on that thread and pick one or a few to try this weekend. Or make and submit your own.
We also have volunteer co-moderators on Goodreads who will be leading bookish discussions throughout our 24 official event. There are probably still a few hours open if you want to volunteer, especially in the 2am-8am range. This would be a great time for folks in the UK, Europe, or anywhere on that side of the planet to try being a Dewey's co-mod.
We also have a new thing this time, the Book Report Challenge, a 6 part challenge that will tap into our grade school nostalgia. It may involve crayons, construction paper, storytelling, etc. Watch our website, facebook, or tumblr for each assignment as it is released and post your results on your preferred social media sites.
And, of course, we also have the traditional hour-long sprints at hours 1, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 and 24. Get your books and snacks and reading buddies lined up and lets see how bookishly perfect we can make this weekend.
Just in time for Readathon!
Got a bunch of unread books with more on the way. Thankfully there’s a @deweysreadathon Reverse Readathon this weekend to help me out!

Reverse Read-a-thon, 2022: Hours 13-18
I got burny eyes and had to scramble to find a new read that I had access to the audiobook. I chose The Pirate King’s Daughter. It’s been on my TBR for a minute and the audiobook was available through the library. I will admit that I dozed for a few minutes here and there, but I actuall heard the bulk of the story. I’ll reread it at a later date to see what little details I did miss. That being…
