Sweet anticipation!
As I’ve written here a couple of times before in the past couple of years, I’m still planning to adopt two adorable dachshund dudes, like those pictured above, into my home -- hopefully, later this year.
Meanwhile, as I learn the art (and challenges) of reverse-parenting....caring for my almost 88-year-old awesome Mom....I’m also learning everything I can to make me the best pet parent possible.
My readers here will be among the first to know when Peter and Paul -- to be named after two little brothers we lost as they were being born a half century ago -- come to my home....and, I suspect, hog this blog for a while.
And, I definitely plan to take the two boys to sea with me aboard Cunard Line’s RMS Queen Mary 2 -- the only luxury liner afloat with pet kennels -- after they've matured a bit....and been introduced to the scent of the sea with a few joyous romps on the beach.
Just imagine the tales yet to come!
