Though I’ve told him multiple times that I’m pagan and that I don’t really want to worship him (though I do respect him, it’s just a matter of who I’d prefer to worship).

I chose to be baptized when I was 9 into the Seventh Day Adventist church, which is a smaller Protestant sect of Christianity. I’m not Christian or Adventist anymore.

Does anybody know how to kind of get him off my back? Or at least ask him in a polite (but direct) way to stop trying to contact me? Is there a ritual I could do?

And the real question—does past guilt and shame instilled from previous Christian religious identity ever go away?
