#reunion!!

“ A Tearful Reunion”

(Hopefully you don't mind my headcannon of Fix having a cute family-

Fix felt like the room was spinning around him when he learned the truth,and realising just how obsessed he was with finding the "robber". When he finally got home,entering his house,met by the only sound that made him glad he didn't dissapear in the dark waves of the sea,his daughters! They grew so much in these 80 days,taking each of them in one arm and kissing their foreheads. Thank god he didn't have time to think about his massive debt!!

So in one of the nights when Fix considered wasting some coins on drinks. He walked down the small streets of Paris,stopping at a little bar which he found fit for his needs right now. Opening the door ,he was met by a soft peachy light,hearing the laughter of men enjoying their evening. And a certain laugh,one laugh that he could never forget,but how? Passpartout had to be in England with his master!

Small shivers of guilt travelled down his spine,he remembered how bad he acted with the poor servant,and thought that If it was truly the loud frenchman,then he deserved an apology,a big one.

As he got closer,he saw both of the familiar man,drinking with a smile on their face,something that was quite uncharacteristic of the Phileas Fogg he once followed.

"Excuse moi,fellow gentlemen,i think i owe you both an apology. " He pulled a chair to their table,and was met by two pairs of shimmering eyes.

"C'est ne pas possible! Moiseur Fix?" Asked the servant with a huge smile,almost bursting in laughter.

Phileas only looked at the detective,not knowing what to say yet.

"Yes,it's me,i'm sorry for interrupting your outing"

"No worries,sit down,the drinks are on me" Phileas simply said,smiling with his left hand on his glass,wedding ring visible,shining in the light"

"Oh,shall i also congratulate you on your marriage?" Fix asked raising an eyebrow .

Phileas smiled softly.

"Thank you,now,how about i ask you how are you,i'm sure it was tough,getting back from the trip i mean" Phileas looked at both of his drinking parteners,ordering one more drink for all.

After that,there was only laughter,maybe too much of it,since neither of them ever laughed as much as then. From the time they first met on the ship to the time Passpartout woke up alone,drugged and hung-over in Hong Kong. After that,Passpartout explained his adventures in Yokohama, to which Fix couldn't hide his amusement.

A drink to their reunion...,a drink to their trip,...a drink to France,...a drink to their families..

Too many drinks. As the three of them had to leave the bar at 2 am (which was imposed by the tipsy Phileas),and somehow,they woke up in Fix's house. (Fix's Wife tucked them all in their bed,sleeping like mice.)
