More OC posting, this is Spider, an NPC in the game I’m running. He’s a home brew species and yes the lack of four fingers is normal for them, though with him he has less fingers than the norm for his species cause he lost some. I made him hot specifically cause I knew Hollywax (one of our PC’s) whole goal is “Hive? Join Hive?” And so far none of the other NPC’s Hollywax has met have been “Hive” material and I wanted her to feel included.
Anyways his name is Spider (not his real name but the players will learn it, eventually, maybe) and I made him with the idea of “oh, can we actually trust him or is he gonna stab us in the back later?” And since some of those players follow me here I’m not going to say which one it is lol :]
He’s got rust growing on half his face, it’s plot relevant, don’t worry about it. Also he glows when he holds certain items, that’s actually not plot relevant, that’s just a feature of his species cause he’s just like that.
I can’t wait till he meets a certain player character who’s been absent for a bit, chaos might ensue.

The one-and-a-half drow PCs' three NPC allies joining the party:
Shrinara is a drow bard from the remote Chiming Court. She was taken to the Navel as a candidate to become a priestess of Lolth, but the PCs helped her get out of that arrangement before she was taken to the trial in the Abyss. Which means she is now on the run.
Rambunk Fumble is a young deep gnome troublemaker from a place literally called Shady Town. He enjoys a bit of "harmless" mayhem* a bit too much for the guard captain's liking and has gone to jail on the regular. He is now on an educational journey aka dangerous mission.
Gnask is a goblin and wandering revolutionary who strives to incite rebellions and end hierarchic injustice… no kings, no gods. Gnask can absorb the innate traits of up to three other creatures, and when I rolled, one of the ones he got was troll regeneration.
