They didn't make it (and didn't even try), but I remember them
Returned Master / 将军家的小儿子 It's officially the first and only drama which I finished solely because of insanely beautiful features of ML! It's pseudo-BL mini c-drama with (typically for minis) stupid plot and not really high quality of shooting, but the face features of Li Kaiwen were truly something... His cheekbones could cut... Gorgeous looks! Hope to see him again in something big.
Rebirth for You / 嘉南传 It was the first drama where I saw beauty of Li Yunrui, I saw a FMV about love story of his character and decided to try. ML and FL were absolutely dull, so, a few eps in, I started skipping everything about them and watched solely LYR's plot line. His plot line could be to my liking - a love story with secret identities, love between generals of enemy states - but it ended up awful. I was shocked that LYR's character switched sides just like that for his love and him being mentally retarded (I'm not overdramatic, he really became mentally retarded due injury) in the second part of drama was so shocking for me that I was left speechless. Fortunately, although LYR never got nice barbarian looks in his other dramas, he's become pretty popular nowadays, so I can please my eyes with him without damaging my brain.
ABO Desire / 垂涎 IDC about BL in a whole and omegaverse BL specifically, but I liked the concept of secondary leads' relationship a lot. It's "secret love", and "idiots in love", and "mutual pining" tropes and could be very yummy. But there was not so much screen time for them and their story was fulfilled pretty stupid. I wished there was a maxi fanfic to fix it all. But alas.
Night of Love With You / 夜色倾心 It was a deliberately cringey mini long before A Dream Within A Dream or Affinity. The worldbuilding was bizzare and I watched it wondering how long could I stand this. I've finished it because it promised me relationship with a villain, and, although I can't advice it to you unless you crave brain damage, the last scene was so iconic that I can't throw this drama out of my mind till these days: FL, villainess: Let's play dirty tricks on the main characters together! ML, villain: Who needs these main characters anyway? *kisses her passionately*
An Oriental Odyssey / 盛唐幻夜 I was unexperienced when I watched this, so during this drama I discovered that sometimes, if you skip some eps or even a dozen of them, you will lose absolutely nothing in terms of plot tracing. And FL, turning into a bat... But it was very memorable - Zheng Yecheng was young and pretty and drama's English name suited it so well - I remember it solely because of those marvelous oriental costumes. After it, I never saw something Chinese that looked so Indian or Thai (or whatever Asian culture it represented there) in terms of atmosphere.
Good and Evil / 百灵潭 Before this drama, I watched c-dramas according to people's recs, so this one discovered an awful side of c-dramaland: c-dramas can be so bad that they can cause brain bleeding. By those times, I was new to c-dramaland and didn't know that bad dramas can and should be dropped off as soon as I feel I can't take it anymore, so I finished it (I wasn't even familiar with the concept of fast-forwarding and watching on x2 speed!!). Even pretty boy Guo Junchen couldn't save it... Fortunately, my brain protects me from awful memories so I can't remember its plot and stuff. But first time is first time, so this drama is unforgettable for me.
