Getting out another idea that popped into my head, I wanted to try doing a movie poster style art piece. As shown by the title, the story for this art piece is called "Dire". It follows a pack of retro-engineered "dire wolves" as they struggle to survive a post-apocalyptic landscape filled with other retro-engineered animals, mutant creatures, and rouge machines. This one I envision as more of a singular story than a series like my other ideas and would be mostly, if not entirely, without verbal dialogue akin to Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal. Being a singular story there's actually a better chance of me actually writing it out than just having scenes play through my head. I'll let you all decide if want to see/read more concepts from this idea.
So as always, comments and critiques are welcome.
P.S. setting up a poll for interest in this story on both Deviantart and Tumblr, there was a lot more interest in this idea than I thought.
Every Jurassic Park movie seems to be building up to the big question of whether we will ever see a living dinosaur again. While the likelihood of reviving extinct creatures from amber is almost zero, some scientists think an alternate route is possible – by genetically engineering a chicken and creating a “chickensaurus.”
A researcher named Joao Botelho has successfully managed to genetically recreate a longer fibula in a bird embryo.
