So here is the introduction.... The start. The intent. But first a moment of back story...

My name is Alexa. I live and work in Atlanta Ga. though I’m not a native. I just moved here from Pittsburgh Pa. 4 years ago, and one of the first things I discovered when I moved here, was the ethnic melting pot which is Buford Hwy. ((Route 23)) 

It’s a long ((mostly)) five lane highway that literally runs from Atlanta to Buford in Georgia. And there’s about a 10 mile section between Jimmy Carter Boulevard and the 85/400 Interchange that has over ONE HUNDRED restaurants! Mexican, Asian, Indian, American... Fast food, fancy food, dives, cafeterias, deli’s, drive thru’s, cafes..... SO MANY!!!! And I started to wonder, could a person possibly ever eat at ALL of them?! Well Clearly if they tried they could... So after a couple years toying with the idea, I have finally set on the goal to do just that. 

In the coming months and ((quite possibly)) years, accompanied by many and various friends, I hope to eat at and review EVERY restaurant on the strip. From top to bottom. Every restaurant. Every cafeteria. Every coffee shop. Addendum to this, of course.... I will not be doing any of the various fast food places like McDonald’s, Zaxby’s, etc.... We’ve all eaten at those places, they don’t need reviewed. But every mom n’ pop joint, no matter how humble will not be passed over. 

Naturally, this could very well cause some toilet based regrets, but the hope here is to prove that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, and hopefully I can shed some light on some real gems that are worth getting the attention.
