Delicate fingers swirl the spoon in her mug, the warmth steaming from the coffee that most would deem as ‘molten kitchen sink sewage’, but to Angela it was just ‘her way of making coffee.’

Crystalline blues remain down at the mug in her hands, but would flit toward their new recruit when she asked her a simple question.

‘What made you come back?’

She knew quite well a few others were also skeptical of her return after her skepticism with Overwatch in the first place, being one of the first to admit it’s downfall was something inevitable and continued to argue would happen again.

let’s paint a picture of the guy’s island: when he was very young ( not specified, but there is a photo of him, wherein he appears to be around the age of four ) his grandmother – who was his sole provider and guardian – was killed by the batter witch. at the same time, she blew up the tower they lived in, leaving only the top portion of it. the island was covered in lusii, some harmless ( tinkerbulls ) but most harmful and intending to probably kill the poor guy. food also seemed to be a bit scarce – he had to appearify it from other places, and is described as eating from the gardens around the island and scavengering to find cans of food sent flying in the explosion. he probably also killed and ate lusii when he could.
