After any oral #xray contrast, I have a tradition to go to a breakfast place. I have to have a glass of chocolate milk (funny since I rarely have anything chocolate) to help flush contrast out and clean my palate. My parents started this "tradition" with me years ago. I struggle with #vitamin deficiencies, which is common in #autoimmunediseases. Since August, my mouth has been extra full of #ulcers. These particular ulcers are pointing back, hopefully, to #B2/#riboflavin deficiency. Big problem is that this vitamin is mainly absorbed in the #jejunum, and that's a part of my #ileum that's regularly strictured from my #crohns (I've had it resectioned multiple times). I'm desperate to get my mouth to calm down a bit, and stop everything from tasting so disgusting, so I've been making sure to get even more B2 in every day. B2 is water soluble, and you don't keep a reserve stock in your body.
