hullo! i'm trying to find this one soulmate fic i read, i think it was harry-centric? and from what i remembered harry was of age (?( or possibly 4th yr, and still hasn't found his soulmate. the people he talks to, they're usually dating their soulmates but some are dating/with people who aren't their soulmate, i remember him explicitly asking a couple why they're not with their fated partners. i think he asked cedric & cho? and cedric said his soulmate was an auror (tonks) and was way older than him and sometimes they'd meet to say hi, and smth like that and he goes in depth that soulmates are someone who could potentially be your person, but you don't always end up with them. it was thoroughly well written. i also (unfortunately) don't remember how they indicate that they're soulmates, i think it's something physical on their body? i cant remember what else. i'm sure they (draco & harry) ended up being soulmates! thank you so much!
(i'm not sure if this was in the same fic, but it wouldn't hurt, i think cedric calls cho a different name, i remember the author stating they asked their asian friend to pick a more fitting name for cho, i remember cedric stated that the name 'cho' was a nickname and the chosen name was her real name.) hope this helps! :P
