it’s been a good weekend!
friday:
i took a nap after work and then went with rob and a friend to see a her cousin’s band, Who Can Sleep?, play downtown at Shine.
we played Yahtzee (i won!) and i had a delicious matcha lemonade and then we went to get some beers at Easy on I.
saturday:
mom is redo-ing the living room and there were painters everywhere. we went to look at a new light for the entryway and then i watched the USWNT beat france in an olympic group game.
then rob and a friend and i went to Chando’s Tacos for some delicious street tacos. it was so busy. there was a pokemon gym there that switched colors every 5 minutes because everyone was playing.
then we went to see the Sacramento Republic FC play against san antonio. it was a really good game. we ended up tying thanks to a penalty kick in the last few minutes. i was so cold that i bought a ridiculously expensive republic hoodie during halftime. but it’s cute and has thumb holes so i can deal.
after the game we went back to rob’s and played some 31 and King’s Cup. i used to play 31 as a kid and showed everybody how to play it the other day. now it’s basically all they do. ha.
sunday:
today i woke up to two phone calls and five texts demanding brunch. and so i went to brunch at Fabian’s. i had a peach bellini and challa french toast and now it is time for all the naps to distract myself from dreading that tomorrow is monday. although, this week i may find out if i’m going to return to my old job or not so that’s something to look forward to.
i hope everyone else in the universe had lovely weekends also.

I had my last day of work in Sacramento today at the Republic FC playoff match. It was amazing. We won, I got money, and it rained. Perfect send off to college.
