The only fic that has this pairing is my fic The Nightingale Prince and I want to try and explain this pairing now hoping to get more people on board. 

For anyone who has only seen the TV show, Deidre is another girl of the Black Sun who is Eskel’s (Geralt’s brother) surprise child and has a bunch of wolves. 

Reasons why Deidre and Renfri are great together:

1) Both cannot be affected by magic and hates mages so they could absolutely go on mage-beating adventures together 

2) Okay so there isn’t a ton of characterization for Deidre but based on her actions, she is more manipulative and sneakier than Renfri, she prefers to wait and spring a trap than charge in and face something head on

3) Meaning between the two of them u get the hothead and the thinker trope (think Zuko/Sokka) and I love this dynamic so much 

4) Also, they both kind of have complicated relationships with Witchers (I’m pretending Renfri survived Geralt okay) (And Deidre and Eskel do not have the...best relationship in canon) so maybe they could head to Kaer Morhen and beat some idiots up together 

5) Basically these two would travel the continent together, saving people and going on adventures and be absolutely wonderful

Geralt growled and that was all the warning he had before a hand was shooting out of the tub and grabbing Jaskier by the leg, tripping him up and causing him to crash to the ground. However, while a good portion of the remaining ale had landed on him, the mug itself had found its way back into the hands of the Witcher who drank the last few drops and dropped the mug onto Jaskier’s fallen body.

“I will not suffer tonight sober,” Geralt said.

“I see that,” Jaskier said from his place on the floor.
