Another anon asked a very similar questions so we’re gonna knock out two birds with one stone.

Yes, it is a render! I resized a cube object that was a little wider and taller than her. Then I flipped the normals so that I can see into the box as I was working, but the camera would see a texture for the box. ( Basically the outside was transparent, but the inside wasn’t. ) and cut one of the sides off so the camera could see into the box.
