OH MY GOD HI

Someone just liked her post out of the blue the other day, so I have been thinking about her again and I love her so much, she is my baby.

Basically, Ren has had her whole future laid out in front of her- I constantly mess with how I want her aging to work but either way, we all know everyone around her has planned out her life- and she’s like, “Mmmmm, fuck that.”

She plans so much out and she uses every trick she knows to avoid detection. (I’m pretty sure I made it so that Alice has headaches and trouble seeing her future, like in BD.)

She’s like, “LOL, where better to hide than not just in California but also where there’s a shit ton of supernatural creatures? My family would never think to look there because it’s so obvious while also being so-not obvious???”

And I constantly go back and forth with what kind of shenanigans her and the pack get up to there but she and Stiles are OTP. I love them. Stiles is like, “Me? Me???? Me over Buff Wolf Man and Hybrid Vampire Man?”

Ren is my fave though. She’s witty and funny and so full of life and she loves human food and everyone thinks her shininess comes from her just being a Hoe for Highlighter and she’s everything to me.

Plot Bunnies: Renesmee Cullen Ren McCarty

For all intents and purposes, Renesmee Cullen was missing.

Meanwhile, Ren McCarty was about to start her life.

It had taken meticulous planning; like branching out far enough from J. Jenks- so no one would be able to question him about her falsified documents- and taking her uncle Em’s birth surname, claiming a distant relative of his to have family history but not close enough for him to be alerted of someone using the name.

She was through being the Perfect Girl. (To her parents and her Aunt Rosalie.) She was tired of being the Perfect Doll. (To her Aunt Alice, always dressing her in expensive, stuffy outfit after outfit.) She gagged at the thought of continuing to be The Girl. (To Jacob, her mom’s sort-of-not ex, who had had an apparent claim to her since the literal moment that she was born, or to Nahuel, a fellow hybrid vampire that she barely knew.)

Renesm- Ren was ready to be her own person.

As for where she had landed?

Well, if a supernatural individual was going to hide from a supernatural family, why not hide in the most obvious- thus the least likely- of places?

A town with its own sets of creatures that go bump in the night.

* The slight shine that she gets in the sun? Everyone in Beacon Hills thinks that she just loves highlight and body shimmer.

* Grew up to love, love, love human food and also grew tired of her aunts- mostly Rosalie- wrinkling their noses every time she managed to slam a whole pizza by herself.

* Honestly believes that if anyone in her family would be supportive of her plans if they managed to figure out what she did- thus using their resources as a part of her new identity- it would be her uncles. (She would like to think that her father might understand, but not when her mom and her aunt are involved, breathing down his neck about it.)

* Also thinks that Leah Clearwater would be onboard

* Loves music but not a snob about it (looking at you, Edward, hating on the 70s) (and I’m sure there’s plenty of modern music that the Cullens hate)

* Thinks her parents are kind of gross, for multiple reasons?

* (There’s definitely a scene where she and Bella are arguing and Ren says that she refuses to be anybody’s child bride and Beller is so Scandalized-)
