Taylor Swift "Shake it Off" Remixes
Let's be real, you can hate on Taylor's older stuff all you want and I might join in, but her more recent stuff is pretty good. See "Shake if Off":
And, as luck would have it, Shake it Off has been remixed 2,000 times as a result of its populatity. It's a good song to start with, just on attitude alone, but add a sweet beat, maybe a drop, and we're really talking. I've been listening to remixes of this song for two days; here are some of my favorites:
Neon NiteClub Remix- trap, or close enough, pretty chill, sweet kick, my personal favorite
Baasik Remix- dupstep, more intensity than the Neon NiteClub and the original, uses the original chorus as a build rather than a chorus, opting for an original instrumental "chorus" (or as close as you're going to get in this style of light dubstep), synthetics are pretty heavy
Crysis Remix- another trap remix, again with the sweet kick, the way it moves between duple and quadruple is so great for building intensity, it does the same "chorus" thing the Baasik does (that's really common in edm, if you're unfamiliar) in a way that, in my opinion, fits better than the Baasik does
