1. Who fell first? Who fell harder?

Valeria fell first but Sebastian definitely fell harder. Since the restricted section incident, where Sebastian took the fall for her, she developed a huge crush on him to the point that she looked like a lovesick fool every time he was in her vicinity. Like, she would rest her face in her hands with a silly smile on her face, and daydream counting his pretty freckles or holding his hand. Her crush was short lived, however, like most of her crushes are. Valeria has a crush on any remotely cute boy she comes across and gets the ick so easily. In Sebastian’s case, it was when she witnessed him and Ominis having a burping contest.

Sebastian though, oh sweet little Sebastian, fell so hard he couldn’t get up (get that boy Life Alert). He’s always thought Valeria was pretty but didn’t think much of it until he started spending more time with her. At first, he’d noticed how she always smelled like jasmine and roses, even on the days she’d be covered from head to toe with dirt and leaves from fighting trolls and dugbogs. Then it was how pretty and expressive her eyes were when she’d excitedly recant one of her latest adventures, getting lost in the beautiful specks of greens and browns. Sometimes, he’d find himself staring at her when they were in class or studying together, perhaps for a few seconds too long.

He completely lost his grip on reality when one day, he introduced his new friend to the undercroft to teach her the blasting spell. As if getting her drenched putting out a fire wasn’t bad enough, he just had to go slip and land right on top of her. Practically being squished against each other and seeing her under him like that altered his brain chemistry and since then, he would think about her constantly. Though he tried not to show it outwardly (couldn’t fool Ominis though), every flirty comment or grazing touch sent him into the atmosphere. (Sorry, I just like seeing him struggle hehehe)

2. Who is the one who fusses the most? Does their S/O mind very much?

Ooh, definitely Valeria and there’s a whole list of things, from not finding something in her bag to combing through her hair for the fifth time that day. She mostly fusses over her appearance, something she takes great care in keeping up, despite being a generally disorganized person. Given that every time she steps outside, her uniform or hair gets ruined in some way, it’s a complaint Sebastian hears often. She can be a little high maintenance but Sebastian doesn’t mind; rather, he thinks it's endearing and enjoys listening to her talk. They don’t get fussy over each other unless one of them shows up hurt, forgets to eat, or secludes themself in the Undercroft pulling all nighters researching *cough cough sebastian*

3. What is their love language?

Valeria - Gift giving! Whenever she sees something that reminds her of Sebastian, she will get it for him. Usually, it’s little trinkets and flowers but she’s also a chronic shopper so will get him little presents for fun. Her favorite gift to him has to be the puzzle box she found in an antique store by Diagon Alley. Sebastian had loved it and spent weeks trying to figure it out. She adored how frustrated he would get - his eyebrows would furrow in the cute way of his and his nose would get all scrunched up, flocking all his freckles together. She had found it so attractive, she brought him a few more puzzles after that. If Valeria’s on the receiving end, her love language would be physical touch and acts of service. She loves it whenever Sebastian would do little things for her without being asked, like carrying her bag for her on the way to class,bundling her up with his scarf whenever it got too cold, or combing through her hair when it got too messy.

Sebastian - Physical touch! He will take every opportunity to initiate contact with Valeria, like holding her hand, leaning against her, or playing with her hair. Whenever they sit next to each other, he makes it a point to sit right beside her so at least either his leg or arm is touching her. Though Valeria gets a little embarrassed with PDA sometimes, Sebastian thrives on it. He especially loves hugging from behind her and resting his head on top of hers, or burying his face in her neck (he can tell she really likes this despite how much she squirms). It goes without saying that he enjoys cuddling and kissing her too hehehe. On the receiving end, it would be quality time and physical touch. He treasures all the little gifts he gets from Val, keeping some of the more sentimental ones in the same box as his family mementos. He loves that he reminds her of so much and keeps every single gift, often showing it off to everyone every chance he gets.

5. What is something they like to do together?

Ooh so much! I know the question asked for one thing but they would do so much when they’re not doing their somewhat questionable extracurricular (wiping out poacher / Ashwinder camps or exploring random caves).

During the school year, they like to study together in the library or have little picnics by the lake after class. They also like going up to the music room, where Valeria would practice her piano while Sebastian reads. Sometimes, they like to go up to the little storage area above to read and make out oops. Their other spot is Sebastian’s favorite… the restricted section.

Summer time is Valeria’s favorite season and she loves spending it with Sebastian every year. Some of her favorite things to do are:

Horseback riding: If they’re ever in London, Valeria and Sebastian take the horses out to some meadow and spend all day outside, maybe have a little picnic. Since Valeria’s a more experienced rider than Sebastian, they usually go together with Sebastian hugging her from behind. He does fear for his life sometimes… Valeria likes to go very fast.

Going to the beach: they love lazing around the beach together and reading. Growing up, Valeria would go to French countryside and beaches with her childhood friends so naturally, she and Sebastian would go whenever he’d spend his summers in London with her. He’s starting to enjoy the beach bum lifestyle.

Festivals / Dances: Can you really say you had a good summer if you didn’t go to one festival and dance your heart out? (Valeria says no!)

7. Who likes forehead kisses? Who likes hand kisses? Who likes neck kisses?

Ah, they both love kisses hehe. Valeria likes forehead and hand kisses the most. Sebastian adores giving and receiving neck kisses.

9. If there wasn't enough seats, how would they sit? One on the other's lap? One on the armrest? One on the floor in front of them?

This really depends on who they’re with and where. Their default is Valeria on Sebastian’s lap, with his arms around her and his head resting on her shoulder. They do switch spots but it always looks so silly because Seb has to sit princess style so Val can see. If it’s with random people or the common room, they sit on the floor together.

11. Who is clingy?

Hmm, they would both be a little clingy with each other but in different ways?

Sebastian - he’d want to spend all his time with her, even if they’re doing their own thing next to each other, so I can see him pouting whenever she leaves him to spend time with other friends. Especially if she goes on adventures without him- when she gets back, he’d whine constantly and demand cuddles as reparations.

Valeria - when it’s just the two of them, she’d want all his attention so can get grumpy when that doesn’t happen (you can tell she’s the youngest child). Usually, it’s when Sebastian is engrossed in a book or researching and she’ll often cuddle up to him, play with his fingers, or pepper him with kisses until he responds.

15. How do they comfort one another when the other is upset?

Valeria - Sebastian rarely gets actually upset, so when he does, she’ll do everything in her power to cheer him up. She’ll get him his favorite candy or a new book to get his mind off things. Usually this cheers him up and he forgets about it but when it’s something more serious, he tends to shut down and isolate himself. Valeria can be a bit awkward with her words during such times so she’ll often comfort him through physical affection, like rubbing his back or wrapping him in long, quiet hugs. She’ll give him his space but will also check on him throughout the day, bringing him meals he had missed or class notes. And when he wants to talk, Valeria will listen quietly while holding his hand, until he feels better.

Sebastian - Whenever Valeria is upset, Sebastian would be ready with her favorite flowers and chocolates. He’d take her on a little date to Hogsmead or somewhere in the highlands, cracking jokes and being a little silly, attempting to cheer her up. He’d squeeze her in a tight hug and shower face with kisses until she smiles or laughs again. Valeria hates talking about heavy matters and especially avoids talking about what’s really bothering her, but Sebastian always finds a way to coax it out of her. He’d comb through her hair while spinning a seemingly random story until he finds something that resonates with her, essentially tricking her to talk about it (sneaky!) Sometimes, when Valeria really wants to be alone, she’ll go up to her “secret” spots (not really secret since Seb has figured all of these out) to read or dance to get her mind off things. He doesn’t bother her during those times but will swing by wearing the disillusionment charm, just to make sure she’s okay (and sometimes to watch her dance). If she’s crying, however, he’s immediately next to her and wrapping her in his arms.

18. They've had a major blowout. How do they handle it?

They would be so passive aggressive about it, especially Valeria. The first couple days would be the worst because they would make it everyone’s problem. Any time they'd run into each other, there would be a loud argument about something unrelated and they would constantly bicker. Once they get all their verbal anger out of their systems, they’d start ignoring each other and being petty every chance they get. Sebastian would sit right in front of her during mealtime, eating as messily as possible. He knows it’s her biggest pet peeve and enjoys watching her face contort with disgust. In retaliation, Valeria would accidentally spill the wrong ingredients into his cauldron during Potions just to watch it explode in his face. While they’re both stubborn, Sebastian would probably give in first and try to mend things between them, even if he wasn’t in the wrong. He’d get Valeria her favorite flowers as a peace offering and that would be enough for the two to start talking again. Eventually, they would have an actual serious conversation and apologize to each other, maybe with a few kisses here and there.

23.Who said "I love you" first?

Sebastian! It was right after class, before the two separated for the next class. Without thinking much about it, he had said, “Well, see you at dinner. Bye, love you.” Like it was the most natural thing in the world. Valeria casually replied with a, “bye, love you too!” And that was that. They didn’t realize this was the first time they said “I love you” to each other until they said it again as they left for their dorms at the end of the night. (And yes, they were a blushing mess afterwards. The prefect had to come down to shut up a certain girls’ dorm room because there was a lot of squealing and excited shrieking.)

24. Who kissed who first?

Valeria kissed Sebastian, a little bit before they started dating. It was during a Slytherin party, where all she could think about was how juicy his lips looked and how she wanted to kiss each and every single freckle on his face. (They were slightly intoxicated). She couldn’t hold herself back anymore when she saw him talking to some girl - she stomped right over there, dragged him to the room behind Salazar Slytherin’s statue, grabbed his face with both her hands, and gave him a big ole smooch. They didn’t leave that room until the party started wrapping up because they were too busy making out, ugh teenagers!

29. What's an insecurity they hold about their relationship?

Valeria - Valeria feels incredibly guilty every time she thinks about this but somewhere deep in her heart, she can’t help but feel a little bitter. She knows that if it really came down to it, Sebastian would always choose Anne over her every time, even if Anne had never been cursed. She fully understands this truth and would never blame him for it - it was his twin sister after all. Valeria herself doesn’t know what she would do in his situation. Her greatest anxiety is that one day, he’d leave everything behind for his sister and simply disappear. And that meant leaving her behind, all alone, and that terrifies her. She knows the lengths Sebastian would go to find a cure and if she doesn’t hold him tightly, she fears he’d slip through her fingers and she’d never see him again.
