I would bet that the captain has woken up from an especially vivid dream and just.. desperately needs that confirmation that his family is safe. It might be a little startling for whoever gets swallowed but I think they would very quickly key in to how hes feeling and how fast his heart is beating and pivot to reassurance. Being cramped and slimy is little inconvenience when it comes to helping their leader-dad-bear feel better

When it comes to Loona and Stolas bonding I have some go-to faves that I'm very fond of and often see other people exploring too, like Stolas teaching her magic or Loona helping him with fashion and stuff like that! But honestly, what I actually want to see more than anything is situations where Stolas shows Loona that he can be relied on when she's vulnerable, that he's someone who can be trusted to help her when she needs it! There are lots of big ways to show this but the smaller ways you can be there for someone matter too, so I wanted to make a sketch of Stolas being a reassuring presence for Loona in a low-stakes but still meaningful way 🥺

What’s happening in this exchange is that Patricia tries to reframe her own grooming as something that happened “by accident,” which already minimizes what grooming actually is, a deliberate act of manipulation and abuse. When that critic pushed back, she doubled down by saying the idea of “the pedophile” is just a social invention created by rich white people to “maintain ownership of their children.”

What makes this dangerous is that it erases the reality of CSA. It implies that predators aren’t real and that child sexual violence is just a side effect of “systems” instead of something individuals choose to do. It also uses anti-capitalist language to make an excuse for harm, shifting sympathy toward abusers and away from survivors.

There’s nothing radical or insightful about denying that abuse exists. This is victim blaming disguised as theory.
