Client communicates informally that they hide suffering with humor, and that they tend to be dishonest with themselves.  SW responds “So you’d like me to call you on your bullshit?”  Client agrees with laughter.

Client leaves long message about specific assistance needed, declines to leave phone number

Client and SW to meet at Client’s medical provider’s office.  Client does not show.  Client later informs SW that they believed SW would provide a ride.

CM responds with rationality to Client expression of concern.  Client nicknames CM “Leonard Nimoy”.

Client states they regularly go to the community pool to clean theirself in the hot tub, rather than shower at home.

While CM is using the restroom, client asks “hey, can you get me an appointment with the doctor?”  CM responds that she is currently using the facilities, and therefore unable to make an appointment this very moment.  CM asks client to speak with the front desk.  Client queries “why can’t you do it?”  CM: “Because I’m pooping.”

Client brings in stack of mail which smells strongly of cigarette smoke and seaweed.
