Odd little kin dilemma
So I have this fictotype who Iām pretty sure in their timeline was the reincarnation (not just kin, it is an urban fantasy universe) of someone from Arthuriana (as yes despite the weird historicity that was canon to my timelineās past), however most of the stories Iāve heard about this figure (whose identity Iām keeping secret until I resolve this) both from the majorly-accepted-as-canon and variousĀ āurban fantasy Arthurianaā stories have them as immortal so how can someone be a reincarnation of someone that couldnāt die without either special-pleading that Arthurian figure in some sort of ākryptoniteā that they can genuinely die to or invoking some kind of godshard-esque situation (which I donāt think would apply in a situation where the figure could still directly interact with the mortal world)?
This is relevant not just for me but because a lot of the main ensemble in that source were also reincarnations in a similar fashion in my timeline some of whom were other immortals but somehow still that made sense but I donāt want to feel like itās all lies just because I canāt see a way for an immortal to still be reborn in a way that doesnāt make their future-life identities (the canon characters of this source) feel like some kind of flimsy magical fabrication made to hide their true selves until the actual-reincarnations awake to their own Camelot identities
I just told my a non-kin friend that I was kin with Ron Weasley and explained my beliefs on it and that Iāve spent the last almost week completely immersed in my kin memories to avoid dealing with life.
