Old Unfriend || Regulus
The sun had fallen below the horizon and the street outside of the shop had gone dark, it was near the end of Junoās shift but they had some merchandise left from a shipment that they wanted to have priced and shelved before the end of the night and with things as slow for customers as they had been, they were blasting music while they did it. Juno kept up a near constant state of movement as they worked, walking back and forth from the back, bringing up boxes, tearing them open and organizing records and tapes alike on the shelves. They paused a moment between boxes to drum out a beat against the side of a shelf, singing along for a couple of bars, god did they love Pink Floyd, when they were finally interrupted by the sound of the bell at the door. They lifted their head with a grin, righting theirself so they could greet the customer with a, āgood evening, let me know if you need any help-ā only to cut theirself off, the near constant grin immediately falling from their face at the sight of Regulus Black at the front of the shop. Their gaze fell cold and a tension seemed to settle into their body as they asked in a curt tone of voice, āwhatāre you doing here?ā Their customer service could only be expected to go so far, after all. Juno couldnāt bring theirself to pretend to be happy to have a death eater in the shop. Especially not one who theyād once known as well as Regulus Black.
