His morning had been strange. Severus had thought that, given a bit of time, he would feel what he expected when he had arrived at Spinnerās End. But the reality was so different it almost made his head spin. The relief was there, and a bit of twisted satisfaction - but it was taking a backseat to a surprising amount of guilt and anger. He was roiling with emotions he was unfamiliar with, and completely unequipped to deal with. So he had gotten another cup of tea and taken a walk, but he couldnāt deny the fact that mostly, he wanted to see Daisy.
Severus supposed that, as her boyfriendĀ (a term that he still wasnāt quite used to), he probably should have checked on her sooner.
