Plot Drop 003

Since the return of several of our ladies, things have been relatively normal. After the wedding excitement died down, things went back to normal. But it seems Parcovia can’t stay normal for long. At least during this competition.

With so many people in court (and not seeing to their regular duties) the magical wards throughout the kingdom have failed. If our magical beings were hidden before, they’re now being forced into the open. The merfolk are stuck with their tails, and most of them have been taken down to the beach. Witches, warlocks, and fairies are all unable to control their powers, experiencing random surges.

No one is quite sure why their powers are malfunctioning, but one thing is clear to everyone: they need to find a way to fix this soon before something goes horribly wrong.

The Wedding

The palace is filled with music and laughter. While the past two weeks were stressful for everyone trying to rescue the ladies who were kidnapped, this week is sure to be nothing but joyous! Lord Reuben Alistair and Lady Genevieve Everette will soon be joined as Lord and Lady Alistair and have invited everyone who is staying at the palace to join in their celebrations. A large feast of food and wine, music and dancing are just a few of the things to entertain everyone. 

It’s been nearly two weeks since the ladies were taken from the palace. Both the knights and the families of the women have been searching nearly day and night, trying to find where they are. Finally, word has gotten out: the pirates are moving the women. All of them will be in the storeroom of the tavern on the far eastern side of Valnesse. The goal of the pirates: get them on a ship to sail out of Parcovia. Our rescuers will be arriving just as they are leaving the storeroom. 

Event 002 

The Dowager Countess of House Everette and the Duke of House Alistair wish to invite you to celebrate the union of their children. There will be a private ceremony followed by a public feast, where you will be free to visit with the bride and groom and give your well-wishes.

Plot Drop 002

As it turns out, having so many pirates in the palace (and surrounding it, for that matter) is not as wise as some had thought. A band of rogue pirates from both crews present at the palace has laid siege to the palace and taken several of its newer residents. The Ladies Genevieve and Aphria Everette, Lady Phaedra Gerrior, Nezetta, and Princess Isira of Elesea are being held for ransom. A note was placed in each of their chambers detailing the terms of their release. The notes have revealed that the women are being held in separate locations, but they don’t reveal where they are being kept. It is up to those left behind to rescue the women who have been taken. The new residents of the palace all gather in the throne room for an announcement. The arrival of Princess Isira of Elesea. Shocked faces can be seen and gasps can be heard as servants wonder what the princess is doing in Parcovia.
